K-drama crafts

I love Korean dramas. I enjoy the music, the acting, and the predictable storylines. But most of all, I appreciate that they're gentler and more relaxing than US and European dramas. Korean romantic dramas focus on character development and relationships rather than sex. Sure, they can be a bit silly, but that's part of their charm.

After watching quite a few, I realized I was starting to forget which ones I had seen. At first, I tried making a list, but it was boring, and I soon realized I’d never look at it anyway. So, I started thinking of other ways to document them. A quote on Instagram and my travel cabinet solved the dilemma for me.

The quote said that if you want to stick with something in the long run, you should do something you're passionate about. What am I passionate about, aside from K-drama? I love writing, the arts, and crafts. All things creative are my passion. My eyes started wandering around the room and landed on our travel cabinet. For each trip we make, we buy one thing and put it in that cabinet.

Maybe I could create something similar for the dramas I watch and love? I K-drama souvenir cabinet.

As fate would have it, I was watching "Black Knight - The Man Who Guards Me" at that time, and when I saw the shadow puppets in that drama, the pieces fell into place. I will make one item from each drama, starting with that shadow puppet.
